 For our April 1969 issue, CREEM commissioned legendary cartoonist R. Crumb to do his worst and spackle our front cover with one of his patented “slick jobs.” Thus was born Boy Howdy!, our freaky little milk bottle mascot. Appearing here for the first time on a t-shirt in his original print form.
